Module 4: The Future of Responsible Investment
Module 5: Implementing Action

GIR managers and analysts are also available to take part in conferences, panels, committees or training sessions dealing with responsible investment and ESG issues.

Dialogue

Drawing on the strength of GIR's international network and its long experience in managing ESG issues in public corporations, our experts are available to apply a dialogue strategy with companies.

  • Active strategy: Strategy in which the investor is actively involved, either alone or with partners, in a dialogue with a company. GIR can act on behalf of the investor, promote its internal ability to participate in dialogue, conduct research on the most influential partners in a given issue or for a given company, or maintain the relationship between these partners.
  • Passive strategy: Strategy in which the investor becomes involved in a dialogue by offering support to partners who are already taking part in a dialogue with a company. GIR can act on behalf of the investor, conduct research on the most influential partners in a given issue or for a given company, or maintain the relationship between these partners. GIR can also participate in the writing of letters to the board and management of targeted companies, in order to state the client's expectations on well-known initiatives, such as, for example, participation in the Carbon Disclosure Project.
